Discover Scanit 2.0: Document Scanning with Generative AI

Scanit 2.0 is the enhanced version of our document scanning tool in Rindegastos. It uses Amazon Bedrock's generative AI to automatically read and interpret information from your receipts and complete the expense fields in the platform, saving time and reducing errors.

It's very simple. You just need to take a picture of the receipt through the Rindegastos mobile app or upload a file from the web platform. Scanit 2.0 will read key data like amount, supplier, date, taxes, and more, automatically filling in the expense fields.

Scanit 2.0 can read receipts, invoices, and other expense documents in formats like images (JPG, PNG) and PDFs, making it ideal for a variety of situations and devices.

Scanit 2.0 extracts and completes multiple fields, including:

• Date and time
• Amount
• Supplier
• Taxes
• Fiscal number (RUT, NIC, RUC, etc.)
• Subtotal
• Address
• Currency
• Receipt number
• Items
• And more!

Scanit 2.0 is available in all countries where Rindegastos operates. Thanks to its ability to adapt to local tax regulations, it can be configured to efficiently read documents from different countries.

Alerts in Scanit 2.0 are intelligent notifications that trigger based on the information detected in the scanned documents. For example, it alerts expenses outside of work hours or if the receipt includes specific items, like alcohol. This helps you maintain control and ensure that internal policies are followed.

Scanit 2.0 is available on the Rindegastos mobile app, compatible with iOS and Android, as well as on the web platform. This allows you to scan and manage your expenses from any device, anywhere.

Scanit 2.0 is included in all Rindegastos plans, both in its smartphone version and its desktop version.

With Bedrock, the AI is provisioned directly within our infrastructure, meaning that data never leaves our control or is handled by third parties.
